Appointed golf course designer in 2023. Long Reef Golf Club have had a reduction in the amount of bunkers from 71 to 42 bunkers. Interestingly the slope rating did not change because the bunkers that were removed didn’t affect the lower handicap and the new bunkers made it more difficult for them. This has given the higher handicap golfer a lot more options and making the game a whole lot more rewarding.
